DAY 01 : ARRIVE KOLKATA

Arrive Kolkata International Airport. Meeting & assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Kolkata is seen as the land of the intellectuals & was the capital of British India before Delhi assumed this position. Kolkata, besides being an extremely populous city of almost million inhabitants, is also the city where Mother Teresa worked tirelessly for the poor and homeless and the city where Rabindra Nath Tagore wrote his famous books.

Afternoon visit Howrah bridge & Victoria memorial.

Howrah Bridge - It is popularly known as RabindraSetu. Howrah Bridge in Kolkata spans over river Hooghly and is considered to be a marvelous engineering work by the British.

Victoria Memorial, a white marble structure built to commemorate the memory of Queen Victoria of England.

DAY 02 : KOLKATA

Early morning good feeling at Flower market at Howrah bridge.

Around 2,000 flower growers from the surrounding areas come to sell their flowers and garlands and during the wedding and festive season probably double that number. One can spend hours watching the hustle and the beautiful colours from the bridge.

Post breakfast, full day city tour of Kolkata covering High Court Building, Oldest Catholic Church in Calcutta, Mother Teressa House, National Museum & Belur Math of Ramkrishna Mission.

St. Pauls Cathedral, measures 71m in length 24m in width the spire rising 60m high. The interior has exquisite scriptural scenes. Above these are the two Florentine frescos. In the centre of the eastern sector is the magnificent alter piece.

Mother House, Mother Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic religious congregation, which in 2012 consisted of over 4,500 sisters and is active in 133 countries.

DAY 03 : KOLKATA – BARIPADA (230 Km / 5.5 hours)

Morning after breakfast, transfer by road to Baripada.

Baripada is the cultural centre of north Odisha. The origins of the name are doubtful but it appears to be derived from the Bauri tribe that originally inhabited this area.

On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 04 : BARIPADA

Full day visit of nearby area including Royal buildings & Temples from the Royal family,Terracotta monuments, day to day life of Santal tribal villagers and scenic beauty sorounding.

DAY 05 : BARIPADA – LULUNG (SIMILIPAL NATIONAL PARK)

After breakfast, transfer by road to Lulung for your overnight stay at Buffer Zone of Similipal Tiger reserve.

Afternoon visit nearby swamp area for bird watching and villages of tribal community nearby.

DAY 06 : LULUNG

Early morning cycle ride on the lap of nature to have a feeling of adventure to explore the small tribal habitats.

Post breakfast get the safari to enjoy flora & fauna inside the sanctuary. You may find wildlife on your return journey.

DAY 07 : LULUNG – AUL (210 Km / 5.5 hours)

After breakfast drive to Aul to explore Bhitarkanika wildlife mangrove sanctuary en route visiting the countryside villages nearer to tidal rivers.

DAY 08 : AUL (BHITARKANIKA NATIONAL PARK)

After breakfast take the boat cruise in creeks to explore deferent species of birds and reptiles (Famous for Estuarine Crocodiles and 9 verities of King Fishers).

Also trek inside the mangrove forest to see more species and wildlife in their natural habitat.

DAY 09 : AUL – DHENKANAL (140 Km / 06 hours including sightseeing)

After breakfast, transfer by road to to Dhenkanal en-route visiting Buddhist archeological excavation sites at Ratnagiri and Udayagiri.

Ratnagiri is the site of a ruined mahavihara, once the major Buddhist monastery in modern Odisha.

Udayagiri is the largest Buddhist complex in the Indian state of Odisha. It is composed of major stupas and monasteries (viharas)

On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the surroundings on your own.

DAY 10 : DHENKANAL

After breakfast drive to visit the monks of Mahima cult at Joranda , their temple & rituals. Distinctly this group of people are different than others as they follow the best aspects of Hindu, Jaina and Buddhist religion.

Also visit the lost wax process work of artisans in Karamul village.(Here, if one is fortunate enough can see wild elephant in the nearby forests in the evening).

DAY 11 : DHENKANAL – NUAPATANA – PURI (130 Km / 05 hours)

Morning drive to visit the textile villages of Nuapatna, famous for Ikkat system of weaving (the tie & dye traditional way).

Later drive to Puri en-route artisan village of Raghurajpur to witness their amazing Patta paintings & Palm leaf ectching.

DAY 12 : PURI – KONARK – PURI (37 Km one way / 45 minutes)

After breakfast, proceed for excursion to Konark to visit Sun Temple, a UNESCO Heritage site followed by a walk through the fishermen village.

Then return through marine drive to visit Puri local market and Jagannath temple from the rooftop of nearby building.

DAY 13 : PURI – BHUBANESWAR (65 Km / 1.5 hours)

Post breakfast, transfer by road to Bhubaneswar.

On arrival, visit city of Temples like Parasurameswar Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Rajarani Temple and Lingaraj Temple.

Later in time transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey.
