DAY 1 : JAIPUR TO RANTHAMBORE
Pick up from Jaipur Airport and transfer to Ranthambhor (160kms/100mi – 3.5 hrs). Check into Jungle Lodge/Camp and settle in with a walk-around the property and general familiarisation. This evening an introductory talk on Tigers and Ranthambhore by camp naturalist.
No game drives this day.

DAY 2 : RANTHAMBORE
Today we look out for the king of the Jungle. To optimize chances for seeing the tiger, we depart for a full day game drive. This drive is limited to only 4 jeeps in the park on this special permit, which allows you access across all zones of the park. You will be accompanied by your expert naturalist, driver and forest guide, Drive in the AM (depending on time of year the Park entry will vary) and return to Camp post-sunset after a 12 hour drive in the Park.
Breakfast and lunch are served at designated spots within the park.
OR in case due to limitation, you were unable to do full day game drive, you can do Morning and evening safaris in open 4X4 jeeps. Morning 6am-10am/Evening 3-6pm Sunset)

DAY 3 : RANTHAMBHOR – DASTKAR, COOKING SESSION, GAME DRIVE
Visit the local Women’s Cooperative “Dastkar” Dastakar Ranthambhor is a non-profit organization that produces handicrafts created by women from villages around the park. Founded in 1989, this was an effort to empower and provide income to villagers on the periphery of the National park. Interact with the women, speak with them and watch them work.
Return to camp for an interactive cooking session with the camp chef.
Post lunch proceed for game drive, return to camp post-sunset.

DAY 4 : RANTHAMBHORE – GAME DRIVE, HIKE TO RANTHAMBHORE FORT
Depart for morning game drive, return to camp for breakfast. Post lunch hike to Ranthambore Fort. You will hike through this formidable fort that was built in the 8th century and can see lots of Langurs, Peacocks, parrots and other wildlife. You would be walking through the ruins and some of the building are still intact. Continue trek up to the Ganesha (Elephant headed God) Temple, through the very heart of tiger territory. The views of the reserve from the battlements are breath-taking. Your guide will navigate you through the fort and its rich history.

DAY 5 : RANTHAMBHOR - JAIPUR
Morning game drive and return to camp for breakfast . Check out depart for Jaipur (160 kms/100mi – 3.5 hours) Arrive at Jaipur .Check into hotel. Evening walk in the bustling streets of the city. Enjoy rest of evening and dinner at a palace .(Optional session with an astrologer)

DAY 6 : JAIPUR – UDAIPUR - JAWAI
Transfer to Jaipur airport for flight to Udaipur train
Arrive Udaipur and drive to Jawai (148kms/91mi - 3 hrs). Three-hour drive brings us to the Jawai Camp parking, where we are transferred onto safari vehicles, which transport us deep into the wilderness to the luxurious Jawai Camp. Enjoy a freshly cooked light lunch and prepare for an afternoon safari to spot leopards in the boulder hills overlooking the Jawai Lake. Tea would be served on safari a return to the camp for a campfire and traditional Rajasthani dinner.
Jawai is a unique wilderness area where leopards have learnt to co-exist with people and their livestocks. The Government and the villagers have come together to make this area into community reserve to bring about balance between local culture and wildlife
Proceed on afternoon wilderness drive post lunch and return to camp post sunset for campfire dinner at Jawai Camp.

DAY 7 : JAWAI – GAME DRIVE, HIKE WITH HERDSMAN
Depart Camp for a morning Game Drive and return to Camp for breakfast. Following lunch you will be accompanied by the naturalist and hike to the mountain peak and later walk and interact with Rabari Shepherds. The tall, proud men dressed in white with red turban herd goats and cows to graze each day. Rabari herdsmen have shared this land with the leopards for centuries, you will embark on this informative rural excursion to see their commitment to wildlife conservation and maintaining their cultural roots.

DAY 8 : JAWAI – BIRDWATCHING, CYCLING
Depart Camp for the morning birdwatching excursion on the Jawai Bandh to view the abundant birdlife and crocodiles basking on the shore and return to camp for breakfast. Afternoon proceed on a cycling excursion past tribal settlements through landscape of towering granite formations, caves, kopjes, scrub and winding sand riverbeds. Return by sundown.

DAY 9 : JAWAI – UDAIPUR - MUMBAI
After breakfast depart for Udaipur for connecting international flights to Mumbai
