DAY 01 : ARRIVE GUWAHATI – NAMERI NATIONAL PARK (210km / 5 hours)
Arrive Guwahati airport. Upon arrival, straight transfer to Nameri National Park, near the Assam Arunachal Pradesh border and check-in at your hotel/ lodge.
Nameri National Park is a national park in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam. This is excellent elephant country and was considered to be an elephant reserve. It is an ideal habitat for a host of other animals including the tiger, leopard, Hog Deer, sambar, dhole (the Asiatic wild dog), Gaur, clouded leopard, leopard cat, Barking Deer, wild boar, sloth bear, Marbled Cat, Himalayan black bear, capped langur and Indian giant squirrel.

DAY 02 : NAMERI NATIONAL PARK
Post breakfast, day reserved for Game drive at Nameri National Park with an English Speaking naturalist.

DAY 03 : NAMERI NATIONAL PARK – DIRANG (165 km / 06 hours)
After breakfast, transfer by road to Dirang.
Drive will be through high mountain terrains which forms the eastern Himalayas offering panoramic view.
Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel.
Evening visit Dirang town and local market.
Overnight at the hotel/lodge.
DAY 04 : DIRANG
After breakfast, visit the old Dirang Village. Then proceed to visit Thembang village, located at about 2300m altitude is of high historical and cultural significance. Thembang village and Dzong are surrounded with the majestic beauty of lush green hills, steep gorges and snow clad peaks.
Afternoon, visit Sangti valley, a picturesque valley around the Sangti River near Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh is not only famous for its scenery and monastic tours but also for its birdlife. During winter, black necked cranes, black tailed crake migrate here from Tibet.

DAY 05 : DIRANG – TAWANG (145 km / 05 hours)
After breakfast, transfer by road to Tawang.
On the way, stop by the Sela Pass at 13700 ft, the highest motor able pass in the Northeast. Also, visit Nuranang fall.
Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Evening, walk around Tawang town.

DAY 06 : TAWANG
After breakfast, visit the famous 400 years old Tawang Monastery and the museum. Later on, drive to visit Penga ten Tso (PT T’so)Lake followed by a visit to Sangetsar Lake. Afternoon, if time permits, visit War memorial. Evening, visit craft emporium (closed on Sunday and public holiday).
Ganden Namgyal Lhatse the Tawang Monastery is one of the largest lamaseries of Mahayana sects and the second oldest Monastery in the world after Lhasa. The Monastery is housed with more than 500 monks. This Monastery was founded by a monk Mera Lama Lodre Gyatso a contemporary of His Holiness Fifth Dalai Lama in 17th century AD.
Note: Visit to PT T’so is subject to permission from Indian Army and DC office in Tawang. This permit can be applied locally in person.

DAY 07 : TAWANG– DAY TRIP TO ZEMITHANG (90 km / 03hours)
After breakfast, visit Ani Gompa and later drive to visit the famous Gorsam chorten in Zemithang which is a historic monument constructed in a similar style as Bodhnath chorten in Kathmandu (Nepal). Then drive back to Tawang.
Evening you can stroll around the local market.

DAY 08 : TAWANG – BOMDILA (180 km/7 hrs)
After breakfast drive back to Bomdila at an altitude of 8000 ft. Enroute visit Urgelling monastery – the birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama.Before crossing Sela Pass stop at Jaswant Garh, a war memorial of 1962 saga.
The Urgelling Monastery is believed to have been in existence since 14th century. It was one of the first three monasteries built by Urgen Sangpo, the youngest brother of Terton Pempalingpa, the famous Treasure-Revealer. It was here in 1683 Tsangyang Tashi, His Holiness the 6th Dalai Lama was born.
On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Afternoon visit lower Gompa and the local market.

DAY 09 : BOMDILA – TEZPUR (165km/5.5 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer by road to Tezpur.
On arrival, check-in at your hotel.
Afteroon visit Agnigarh, a hilltop fortress from where you can enjoy a pristine view of the town below with the river Brahmaputra flowing through.
Later visit Cole Park, where a U- shaped pond wraps around manicured lawns set with pretty trees and dotted with fine ancient sculptures gathered from various local ruins.

DAY 10 : TEZPUR – GUWAHATI (180km/6hrs)
After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport to board your scheduled flight for onward journey.
